Op zaterdag 19 maart 2016 zal er in Utrecht een demonstratie tegen de komst van vluchtelingen plaatsvinden, gesteund door de racistische en islamofobe organisaties Pegida en Nederlands Verbond (voorheen DTG). Hieronder vind je de laatste updates met betrekking tot de tegenacties. Kom aanstaande zaterdag naar Utrecht en laat je horen tegen racisme en haat!

De voorgenomen startlocatie en route van de anti-AZC demonstratie zijn verboden door de burgemeester. Het is ze alleen toegestaan om tussen 12:30 en 15:00 te demonstreren bij de Stadsschouwburg aan het Lucasbolwerk. Eerde kondigde de organisatie op social media aan dat ze om 12:30 zouden verzamelen op het Domplein om vervolgens naar de Stadsschouwburg te lopen, maar dit bericht is verdwenen. Dit is echter nog steeds een scenario om rekening mee te houden. Het ziet er naar uit dat allerhande extreem-rechtse actievoerders naar Utrecht zullen afreizen. Wij roepen dan ook nog steeds op je tegen dit racistische propaganda-protest te verzetten. Zorg dat je op tijd in het centrum van Utrecht bent en laat zien dat extreem-rechtse actievoerders niet welkom zijn in Utrecht. Organiseer jezelf en je vrienden of sluit je ter plekke aan, wees creatief, wees voorbereid en kom in actie!
Infostructuur – Infopunt, Twitter, infolijn en website
Vanaf 11:30 zal er een infopunt open zijn in het ACU (Voorstraat 71). Daar wordt de laatste informatie verstrekt, liggen kaartjes van de omgeving en een flyer met juridische info.
Verder zullen wij de gehele dag het protest monitoren en info verschaffen. Denk hierbij aan locaties van rechts-extremisten, eventuele arrestaties en politiebewegingen. Via een infolijn, via Twitter en via een tijdslijn op www.laatzenietlopen.nl houden we je up-to-date. De infolijn is te bereiken via 06 26 68 86 41. Heb je zaterdag belangrijke informatie over extreem-rechtse actievoerders, politie-optreden, etc, sms/bel dit dan door naar de infolijn, en bel als je zelf informatie nodig hebt.

Arrestantengroep en advocaat
Wij gaan er niet van uit, maar het kan bij een protestactie altijd gebeuren dat er mensen worden gearresteerd. Daarom staat er gedurende de dag een arrestantengroep (AG) en een advocaat (Lydia Plantenga, Utrecht, registratie nummer A18413) paraat om alle deelnemers juridisch te ondersteunen in geval van arrestaties. Informeer bij het infopunt naar het telefoonnummer van de AG. Hier kan je ook een flyer krijgen met de belangrijkste info voor als je gearresteerd wordt. Je kunt de flyer ook zelf alvast uitprinten, klik op de flyer hieronder om hem te vergroten en op te slaan.
Bel de AG ook als je iemand opgepakt ziet worden, noem dan geen namen maar geef een duidelijke omschrijving van uiterlijk en locatie. Mocht je zelf de pineut zijn, verklaar dan niets tegen de politie en betaal geen boetes/pintransacties! Wordt je onverhoopt langer dan 6 uur vastgehouden en wil je met een advocaat praten, vraag dan naar Lydia Plantenga, Utrecht, registratie nummer A18413. Neem als je weer vrij komt direct contact op met de AG, dan weten ze dat je vrij bent en kunnen ze je voorlichten.
Tot slot
Extreem-rechtse groepen als Pegida en Nederlands Verbond misbruiken de vrijheid van meningsuiting voor het creëren van een vrijplaats voor de verheerlijking van racisme en islamofobie. Eerdere demonstraties van oa Pegida zijn door toedoen van tegenacties altijd vrij beperkt gebleven. Het is aan ons om samen de druk op de ketel te houden en de ruimte voor Pegida en haar extreem-rechtse achterban zo klein mogelijk te houden! Organiseer jezelf en je vrienden, fluit ze uit, overstem ze, blokkeer, laat zien dat ze niet welkom zijn!

On Saturday 19 March 2016 there will
be a demonstration in Utrecht against refugees, supported by the
racist and islamphobic organizations Pegida and Nederlands Verbond
(former DTG). Below you will find the latest updates concerning the
counter actions. Come to Utrecht this Saturday and speak up against
racism and hate!

The proposed meeting
place and marching route of the anti refugee shelter demonstration
have been forbidden by the Utrecht mayor. They are only allowed to
have a demonstration between 12:30 and 15:00 at Stadsschouwburg which
is located at Lucasbolwerk. Previously the organization used social
media to call for a meet-up at Domplein and march to Stadsschouwburg,
but this message has disappeared. However, this is still a possible
event to take into account. It seems that several extreme-right
activists are traveling to Utrecht. We still call for resistance
against this racist propaganda protest. Make sure you are in Utrecht
on time and show extreme-right activists that they are not welcome in
Utrecht. Organise yourself and your friends or join in with others,
be creative, be prepared, and resist!

From 11:30 onwards there is an
infopoint at ACU (Voorstraat 71). There the last updates and
information will be distributed and you can get maps of the city + a
flyer with juridical information.
Furthermore, we’ll
monitor the protest during the whole day and provide you with
information. This includes: location of extreme-right people,
possible arrests and police moves. Through the infoline, Twitter and
through a timeline on www.laatzenietlopen.nl we’ll

this Saturday on extreme-right activists, police activity and so on;
please text (preferred) or call to this number. You can also call if
you need information yourself.

available of the surroundings. This map includes a grid, so use this
when you are in contact with the infoline. Updates on the events on
the day of the counterprotest will be given with a grid location.

Legal support group and lawyer
Although we don’t expect it, there is always a possibility that one is arrested during a counterdemo. Therefore we have an legal support group (AG) and a lawyer (Lydia Plantenga, Utrecht, registration number A18413B) who can support you in case of an arrest on a juridical level. Check the number of the AG at the infopoint. Here you can also get a flyer with more information in case of arrest. You can also print the flyer yourself: click on the flyer to enlarge it and save it.
Also call the AG if
you see someone being arrested. Please, do not mention any names but
give a clear description of this person’s looks and location. If
you are arrested yourself: don’t make any statements and don’t
pay any fines/PIN transactions! If you are unexpectedly held for more
than 6 hours and you want to talk to your lawyer, ask for Lydia
Plantenga, Utrecht, registration number A18413B.
If you are released, immediately contact the AG so they know that
you’ve been released and they can give you additional information.

Extreme-right groups
like Pegida and Nederlands Verbond are abusing the freedom of speech
in order to create a sanctuary where racism and islamophobia is
glorified. Previous demonstrations of i.e. Pegida have been limited
because of the counterdemonstrations. It is our task to keep on
limiting the space for Pegida and it’s extreme-right associates!
Organize yourself and your friends, chant, whistle, shout, block,
show them that they’re not welcome!
